Multilayer Puzzles - Grow Up - Grandmother
This imaginative multilayer puzzle introduces children to the concept of growth and the passage of time in a clear, hands‑on way. As children build the puzzle layer by layer, they explore how people change as they grow from infancy through adulthood and into old age.
Each layer represents a different phase of life and increases in size and complexity. The bottom layer shows a baby made up of four pieces, followed by a school‑age child with six pieces. The next layer depicts an adult woman using nine pieces, and the top layer completes the sequence with a grandmother made up of twelve pieces. As the number of pieces increases, children are challenged to think, observe and compare stages of development.
This progressive design supports discussions about aging, family relationships and life stages, while also developing spatial awareness and problem‑solving skills. The sturdy wooden layers fit neatly on top of one another, making the growth sequence visually clear and easy to understand. Puzzle contains 31 pieces. Made from Birch plywood. Measures 24 x 24cm. Ages 3yrs+
